Welcome to GDC Pampore

Govt. Degree College, Pampore was established in 2011 and is affiliated to University of Kashmir. Presently the college offers admission to four year undergratuate programs (3+1) in Arabic, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, EVS, Education, English Literature, Geography, History, Music, Islamic Studies, Kashmiri, Political Science, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Urdu, Zoology, following NEP curriculum. In these past thirteen years the college has grown rapidly. Infrastructural expansion has taken place in terms of establishment of Virtual Lab, Computer lab., Smart classrooms, Browsing centre, adding one more floor to Library, Library automation, 8-Classroom Block, Conference Hall, Science Laboratory cum Classroom block, Solar backup, well equipped Gymnasium, Multi-Purpose cum indoor stadium, Basket Ball Court, Cafeteria, Polyhouse, Chowkidar hut and a well maintained play-field.

The dedicated faculty of the college is committed not only towards the academic excellence but for the all-round development of students by providing a sincere, compassionate, inspiring and stimulating environment. Our prime purpose is to provide education which will strengthen the innate potential of the students. We stand committed to inculcate strong moral and ethical values in our students. Department of Physical Education, Educational, Social and Literary clubs lead to multi- faceted development and focus on personality development.

The college stands committed to its faculty & promotes their development by encouraging them to participate in conferences, workshops & seminars. We also stand committed to our community. The NSS wing of the college is actively involved in creating social awareness and promoting values.
