Founded in 1913 as Amar Singh Technical Institute and officially inaugurated in 1914 by Maharaja Pratap Singh, Amar Singh College is a beacon of academic excellence. The institution was converted into Amar Singh College in 1942. Since then, it has evolved from its humble beginnings of teaching skills like masonry and carpentry to offering a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, reflecting over a century of educational growth.

The college now offers FYUGP in 25 major Subjects in addition to Integrated Programmes in English, Geography and Economics. Additionally, it has embraced National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in 2022, implementing new programs that foster a more integrated and interdisciplinary approach to education.
