Welcome to GDC Kangan
 The Government Degree College Kangan was established in 2011 to cater to the academic needs of students of far flung areas of district Ganderbal. We are currently running Bachelor of Arts programme with General English, Education, Political Science, Sociology, Islamic Studies, Economics, History, Kashmiri, Urdu, Psychology, Music, Math and Environment Science as subjects. The college is on the path of progressive development with almost all the required basic facilities, like fully automated Library, Computer Lab/Browsing center, Canteen, Gymnasium, Sports equipment required for indoor and outdoor games, besides a 75- bedded under construction girl’s hostel along with highly professional and dedicated faculty. Keeping pace with changing scenario, the college provides ICT based teaching and learning facilities.
