Welcome to Govt. Degree College, Jindrah
Government Degree College Jindrah is a co-educational institute affiliated with University of Jammu established on 29th of June 2011 in Jindrah, Jammu District. It is enlisted with UGC under
section 2(f). The college offers BA course for the undergraduate level having 11 subjects at present with Education, Political Science and Hindi as Major Subjects and multi-disciplinary courses under NEP 2020 implemented as per University rules. It is approx. 55 kms from Jammu. The College is surrounded by Devika temple, Shakti Peeth Nabha Mata and beautiful green landscapes. It is presently functioning in GHSS Jindrah with insufficient infrastructure. The college has 90 kanals land approx one km from present location. The College initially started with a mere number of 84 students in 2012-13, 336 studentshave been admitted in 2022-2023 and presently (2024-25 session) so far 125 students are on the roll.
